| Bow Quarter - E3 |
 |
|
The Bow Quarter has one of Europe's most impressive pieces of Victorian industrial architecture as its centrepiece. It is an elegant restatement of a number of timeless themes! The famous Fairfield Works were erected by Bryant & May, to house their premier match factory. In Edwardian times, this magnificent edifice dominated the largest industrial complex in London. Today, skillfully refurbished listed buildings form the basis for the development, while newer additions clearly reflect the grandeur of much of the original architecture. At the Bow Quarter, every apartment is virtually unique. It could be anything from an elegant duplex apartment to a stylish galleried studio. The older buildings in the The Bow Quarter are massive structures, generously illuminated by large windows and loft style apartments, and penthouses feature galleried bedrooms and double height ceilings. Alan Selby & Partners were the sole selling agents for this landmark loft conversion and new build apartment blocks. In total there were over 700 units with the added attraction of a swimming pool and other leisure facilities. Year: 1987
